The 2011 BMW X5 is one of those BMW updated cars that have written the new history in the world’s sports car. BMW changed the thoughts of its customers with all-new X5 BMW 2011, the original model of X5 was introduced as 2000 year model in late 1999. Over the year, the engineers at BMW have done lots of R&D’s to improve the X5 experience, and finally with 2011 X5 they came up with major design, and engine updates for their audience to attract them.
BMW powered X5 with new engine, and components under chassis that can provide pleasure both on road & off the road. It also comes up with strong dynamic design changes that have completely changed the look of the BMW X5. It is said that it will be first introduced to the folks of North America in late 2010’s New York International Auto Show.
The X5 is another example of the BMW engineers’ innovation skills. According to the press release from BMW, they have generated more than 4000 new different parts of the X5 to make it more powerful and recognizable in the market with its own performance and elegance. No doubt that they have done the great work. They manufactured totally new two models of X5 with advanced and latest technologies in the chassis of the ride to improve it.
The design base of X5 is pretty improved from the older models. The new model comes up with the well-balanced dynamic look. It features the long wheelbase, short front and rear body overhangs, moreover it comes with light alloy rim to provide less eyestrain contrast. The deep lines sweeps from bottom to top through the front kidney grill to the hood.
BMW X5 looks similar to Audi’s SUVs, but it appears to come with more unique and powerful dynamics control over the roads. Design wise it is featured with every little element, and powers up the twin-front lights to work great in dark areas. It comes in Platinum Gray, including the Deep Sea Blue, and the Sparkling Bronze.
However, the BMW X5 comes with two models that are featured with powertrains, which allow more power in the engine. The 2011 BMW X5 in two variations such as BMW X5 xDrive50i and the BMW X5 xDrive35i. It also comes with Diesel engine, and equipped with BMW’s Advanced Diesel engine system.
The all-new BMW X5 xDrive50i is powered by famous twin-turbocharger V-8 and becomes the flagship model of the BMW’s X5 family. The turbo engine can produce horsepower of 400 at 5,500 RPM and total torque of 450 lb-ft. The X5 turbocharger comes in 4.4 liter V-8 engine. The V-8 engine is constructed with aluminum material under the chassis. The V-8 engine is the most recognizable engine model that comes in other BMW’s famous rides. It allows the X5 cars to reach the 0-60 mph sprint in just 5.3 seconds.
However, the standard version of X5 xDrive35i is featured with BMW’s turbocharger inline-6 engine with powerful valvetronic. It’s the same engine that is featured as “N55”.
