2011 BMW Z4 Test Drive

BMW Z4 debuts on the market with the combination of classic BMW’s look and modern features to make it a ruling machine over the others in the market. It reached the heights of top charts overnight, and becomes the most popular segment of BMW in the year 2011. The BMW Z4 sDrive35 comes with new generation engine technology and produces a higher standard of performance to ensure the user’s pleasure to ride. The all new BMW Z4 comes up with the new modified straight-six power engine unit, with all direct fuel injection system, High Precision Injection. It also features the BMW’s revised Twin Turbo Technology to supercharge the car on the road.


On the engine side, the 2011 BMW Z4 comes with the BMW’s seven-speed double clutch sports automatic transmission, and the M Sports Package for the most popular adaptive response of the car with powerful suspensions. The new modification in the engine maximizes the output power of the 3.0-liter power unit to 250 kW/340 horsepower. The peak torque of the engine is 450 Newton-meters/332 lb-ft, which can be boosted up to 500 Newton meters with Overboost technology in the BMW Z4 series.

The new BMW Z4 2011 sDrive35is to make a world debut at the late 2010 North American International Auto Show to bring a halt towards the BMW cars, and the modified engines in the hood that are up to produce double power with great efficiency. The Z4 BMW will be released somewhere in Spring of 2011.

The BMW Z4 is already powered by a modified straight-six engine with Turbo Twin chargers, but the BMW has introduced the Roadster model of the Z4 with highly researched and impressive dynamics to provide a more adaptive response on the road, and catch air in seconds. Its design comes with changes that bring the optimized air supply, and more grip over the wheels. However, the rear combination of Twin Turbo Charger and the High Precision Fuel Injection provides greater engine efficiency but also draws the significantly high fuel consumptions results.

The BMW Z4 also comes up in the market with Overboost technology that boosts the torque production to the next level. It increases the torque production by another 50 Newton-meters, and offers total production of 500 Newton meters/ 369 lb-ft. It allows the car to reach the amazing speed of 100km/h in just 4.8 seconds. Moreover the BMW has made the M Sports Package a standard feature of the BMW Z4 2011 model, and features it more powerful equipments to give everything to their sporty flavor car.

The BMW Z4 sDrive35is comes with an M Aerodynamics Package, and Adaptive M Suspension package that comes with electronically controlled dampers for great luxury pleasure on the car without compromising the comfort of the passengers at high speed. It can be also equipped with the BMW’s special 18-inch lightweight alloy rims with five spoke design that adds another layer of sportiness on the car.
